Her Hoops Stats Release
Without an official Freshman All-American Team, Her Hoop Stats in conjunction with Mel Greenberg, the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) women's representative have collaborated to produce the Fab 15 Freshman list acknowledging the play of the nation's top freshman from the 2019-20 season.
The players were selected from the nation's 32 conference freshmen of the year recipients. These 15 players dominated their conferences and ranked highly among freshmen and all players in the nation in various statistical categories.
Additionally, six freshmen who were selected to their conference's all-freshman team have been selected as honorable mentions.

Kitley, a 6-foot-5 center from Summerfield, North Carolina became the first Hokie in history to earn ACC, the Freshman of the Year honors after averaging 12.4 points per game and 7.6 rebounds. Kitley was second in the ACC with 60 blocks and recorded a league-best eight in the Hokies' victory at Notre Dame.
She was tabbed as the conference's Freshman of the Week three times, the most of any rookie.
Kitley registered six double-doubles on the season and is second in the conference in field goal percentage (.564). She has started in all 29 of the Hokies' contests.
The freshman center finds her season totals littering the Virginia Tech record book with her 60 blocks ranking sixth all-time, 56.4% shooting percentage sixth, and her conference field goal percentage (.573) and block total (41) setting new records.
