FERRUM, Va – Following an excellent indoor season by the Virginia Tech men's track and field team, five individuals and the 4x400-meter relay team were named to the all-state team, announced by the Virginia Sports Information Directors on Monday.
The first team is highlighted by ACC Indoor Champions Jacory Patterson (400 meters) and Peters Seufer (3,000 meters; 5, 000 meters). Cole Beck, Bashir Mosavel-Lo and the 4x400 relay team of Patrick Forrest, Tyreke Sapp, Miles Green and Patterson were also voted as members of the first team.
Diego Zarate, who finished fourth in the mile at the indoor championships, was named to the all-state second-team.
