BLACKSBURG – In a repeat of the season opener to kick off the Mike Young era, the Virginia Tech men's basketball team will take on Clemson Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on senior day at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum.
The Hokies (15-14, 6-12 ACC) haven't faced the Tigers (15-13, 9-9) in 28 games, as a lot has happened since Nov. 5 in the Palmetto State.

Guys that have known each other for a long time and are friends off the court, Young and Clemson's Brad Brownell have faced each other three times, with Brownell owning the series 2-1 dating back to 2010. Young is 1-7 all-time versus Clemson.
The matchup will be broadcast on ACC Network, with Chris Cotter (play-by-play) and Chris Spatola (analyst) on the call, while Jon Laaser (play-by-play) and Mike Burnop (analyst) will broadcast on Virginia Tech Sports Properties.
Graduate student Branden Johnson and senior managers Ben VanDyne, Dylan "Forest" Wimer and Dylan Orrell will be honored pregame for the senior day festivities.
