Hokies head to Vegas for a pair of matches

BLACKSBURG -  The Virginia Tech women's tennis team will venture to Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend to face Arkansas and UNLV.

IN THE RANKINGS

• Arkansas' Jackie Carr is ranked No. 114 in the latest ITA singles rankings.
• The UNLV duo of En Pei-Huang and Izumi Asano are ranked No. 13 in doubles.

HOKIES

• Freshman Erika Cheng, Lily Hackbirth, Chinnda Som, juniors Elizabet Danailova, Nika Kozar, Nina Sorkin, and seniors Shene Disbergen and Natalie Novotna will make the trip.
• The Hokies are 4-0 on the year. This will be their first test on the road of the dual season.
• Erika Cheng and Shene Disbergen both stand at 4-0 through two weeks.
• The pair of Novotna/Disbergen are undefeated (3-0) on Court 1, along with Sorkin/Danailova being unbeaten.
• In their last outing, Tech toughed out a 4-3 win over JMU. 

RAZORBACKS

• Arkansas is coming off a 4-0 victory against Wichita St.
• Kelly Keller is 3-0 on the year playing from Court 5.

REBELS

• In their last outing, UNLV fell to No. 14 Arizona St., 4-0.
