Hokies sweep ACC Swimmer of the Week honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia Tech swept ACC Swimmer of the Week honors after Blake Manoff and Loulou Vos turned in impressive performances over the weekend at the Virginia Tech Invite.
 
Manoff posted some strong times over the weekend. In a time trial of the 200 freestyle, Manoff set the Christiansburg Aquatic Center record and recorded the second fastest time in program history with a 1:33.68. The sophomore swam NCAA B cuts in all of his events including first place finishes in the 100 and 200 butterfly as well as a time trial of the 100 back in which he had a 46.89.
 
Loulou Vos turned in top performances throughout the weekend, finishing first in the 200 and 500 free events. In addition, the sophomore had a second place finish in the 100 free. Her time in the 200 free moved her into sixth on the Virginia Tech all-time list.
 
This is Manoff's third weekly honor this season and of his career. Vos picks up accolades for the first time in her career.
