The Hokies enter with some momentum following a road victory over rival Virginia on Sunday afternoon, earning 0.5 Commonwealth Clash points in the process. It was the program's first win in Charlottesville in four tries and evened the Hokies' ACC record at 3-3 (13-4 overall).

For the first time this season, all five starters scored in double figures in a balanced effort that saw Dara Mabrey lead the squad with 15, including hitting clutch 3's in the second half to help complete the comeback.  Freshman Elizabeth Kitley registered her first double-double in ACC play and second of her career with a 12-point, 10-rebound effort.

A win would be the Hokies' ninth at home this season, keeping a perfect record, but would signal the first time in program history that the team won its first three ACC home contests.

THE EAGLES
Boston College enters the contest at 10-8 on the season and carrying a 3-4 record in ACC play. In their last game Sunday afternoon, the Eagles won at Georgia Tech 55-48 behind a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double from guard Taylor Soule.

On the season, Soule leads the Eagles in scoring at 12.6 points per game, just ahead of Emma Guy and Cameron Swartz who both post 12.4 points per contest and are joined in double figures by Makayla Dickens' 10.6 output.
