BLACKSBURG — Virginia Tech men's tennis coach Jim Thompson has announced the 2020 spring slate.
The Hokies will begin play on Jan. 20 against George Mason in an 11 a.m. match at Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center before taking to the road for three consecutive matches. The team will return home to host four non-conference matches, beginning Feb. 8 with Appalachian State followed by Liberty (2/9) and a doubleheader with St. Bonaventure and Gardner-Webb (2/15).
Tech's ACC competition will begin on Friday, Feb. 28, on the road against Duke, before hosting four ACC matches in March, starting with NC State on March 7, followed by Louisville (3/13), a Commonwealth clash with Virginia (3/15) and defending ACC champions Wake Forest (3/18). The Hokies also host a pair of mid-season non-conference matches with William & Mary (3/22) and VCU (3/24).
Virginia Tech will return to the road for a quartet of ACC contests before concluding the regular-season with Miami (4/9) followed by Senior Day against Florida State on April 11.
