BLACKSBURG – Following an idle week, the Virginia Tech football team will return to ACC action on Friday, September 27, against Duke at 7 p.m. in Lane Stadium.

HOKIES RETURN TO ACC PLAY VS. DUKE              
• Virginia Tech completes a three-game home stand at Lane Stadium with a Friday night contest vs. Duke (9/27).
• Tech is coming off a 24-17 win vs. Furman (9/14).
• Duke got a 48-13 win at Middle Tennessee State (9/14).
• Virginia Tech is 13-2 vs. Duke since joining the ACC in 2004, including a 3-0 record under head coach Justin Fuente.
• Tech is 8-1 at home in September under Fuente. 
• The Hokies hit the road for their next contest at Miami (10/5), while Duke returns home to host Pitt (10/5).
 
DOMINATE THEIR STATE    
•  Virginia Tech owns a 8-0 record against teams from the state of North Carolina under Fuente.
•  A total of 17 players on the current Virginia Tech roster hail from the state of North Carolina.
