The No. 21/20 Virginia Tech softball team (39-6, 16-2 ACC) will play host to North Carolina (27-14, 13-5 ACC) this weekend in a battle for the top spot in the ACC Costal Division. The first place Hokies are the hottest team in the ACC, winning their last six consecutive games, with sweeps over Virginia and UNC Charlotte during this stretch.

The Virginia Tech baseball team (21-16, 6-12 ACC) will play their only home conference series throughout the month of April as they face No. 11 Georgia Tech (25-12, 11-7 ACC) for three games. The weekend home series will begin starting Thursday and will conclude Saturday if weather permits.

The Virginia Tech women's golf team is set to compete in the three-day ACC Women's Golf Championship starting Thursday, and resuming Saturday, from the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. The 10th seeded Hokies will play the par 72, 6,089-yard course looking to make their second appearance to the NCAA Regionals in only their third season of competition.

The Virginia Tech men's golf team will contend as the 11th seed in the three-day ACC Men's Golf Championship. The Hokies will play the par 72, 7,102-yard course at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C. on Thursday and Saturday. The Hokies will be playing in their 15th consecutive ACC Championship.

The Virginia Tech track & field teams will split up for the fourth time this season as they will head to Durham, N.C. for the Duke Invitational and Auburn, Ala. for the War Eagle Invitational. The distance team and select throwers will compete at the two-day Duke Invitational, starting Friday, while the sprinters and jumpers will be competing at the two-day War Eagle Classic, also starting Friday.

The Virginia Tech lacrosse team (8-8, 1-5 ACC) will conclude their regular season at No. 7 Virginia (11-15, 2-4 ACC) on Saturday. The Hokies will be up against their fifth consecutive top-ten opponent this weekend in Charlottesville for the Commonwealth Clash. In their last three games against No. 3 Syracuse, No. 4 Notre Dame, and No.1 Boston College, the Hokies have fallen by a total of just six goals. Virginia Tech will look to flip the script this weekend in preparation for the ACC Tournament next week in Boston, Mass.
