Fans are invited to Cassell Coliseum on Sunday, March 17, for the 2019 March Madness Selection Show viewing party with the Virginia Tech men's basketball team. There will be free pizza for the first 400 fans. The doors will open at 5 p.m. with the evening's program beginning at 5:30 p.m. The broadcast on CBS is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

After a west coast road swing that saw the Hokies go 1-1 falling narrowly at USC and defeating Fresno State in convincing fashion, the Virginia Tech lacrosse team is back home this weekend for a Sunday afternoon tilt against visiting Denver. First draw from Thompson Field is set for noon with coverage available on ACC Network Extra.

Teeth of the Dog Golf Course
Mar. 15-16 | Tar Heel Classic hosted by Suzy Whaley
 
The Virginia Tech women's golf team returns to action this weekend at the Tar Heel Classic hosted by Suzy Whaley. The two-day tournament will be played at the renowned Teeth of the Dog Golf Course in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

Forest Heights Country Club
Mar. 15-17 | 40th Annual Schenkel Invitational

The Virginia Tech men's golf team returns to action this weekend at the 40th annual Schenkel Invitational. The three-day tournament will be played at the par 72, 6,962-yard Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Georgia.
 
Softball

Mar. 15-17 | vs. NC State
 
Heading into its first ACC road trip of the season, No. 25 Virginia Tech's softball team will go to NC State for a three-game series this weekend at Dail Softball Stadium. The Hokies (18-4, 2-1 ACC) will be the Wolfpack's (16-8) first league opponent this year. The two squads haven't faced off in some time, playing each other in 2015 with the Pack winning all three games.

The Virginia Tech women's tennis team is set for three matches over the next five days as the Hokies host UAB on Wednesday, March 13 before taking to the road for a pair of ranked ACC matches beginning with No. 29 Syracuse on Friday and No. 43 Boston College on Sunday.
 
Baseball
Pittsburgh, Pa.
Mar. 15-17 | vs. Pitt
The Virginia Tech baseball team continues ACC play this weekend with a three-game set at the Pittsburgh Panthers. The series features single games on Friday and Saturday, with first pitch for both starting at 3 p.m. Sunday's final game is set to start at 1 p.m. Pitt enters the weekend with a 6-9 overall record and are 0-3 in the ACC, while the Hokies are 11-5, 1-2 in league play.
