BLACKSBURG – Social Media Night is back for Virginia Tech's men's basketball team, as the anticipated event will take place Wednesday against Georgia Tech at 8 p.m. ET.
From the hashtag #HokiesSocial to behind-the-scenes action on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, fans will be able to take it all in via social media.

- Check-in on Facebook via the Hokies MBB vs Georgia Tech Facebook event – tell your friends you're at the game!
- Pop Sockets and Cell Phone Wallets will be given away to early arriving fans at the promotions booth near section 1.
- Rally Towels will be on seats in the student section, courtesy of the game sponsor – CMG/The Edge.
- Social Scavenger Hunt leading up the game for free tickets – follow @CassellGuardVT on Twitter.
- Follow Virginia Tech Athletics on social media for live footage from the team run out during pregame to tip off of the game.
- @HokiesMBB will go live on Twitter & Instagram Story with Tech student-athletes taking over.
- Fans will tell the story on Twitter, tweeting play-by-play that @HokiesMBB will retweet during the game.
- Take photos at the photo booth on the concourse and share them using #HokiesSocial – special props and a Virginia Tech Athletics backdrop.
- Tweet your seat, presented by The Edge/CMG! Follow @HokiesMBB on Twitter for the chance to have your seats upgraded for the game. Details shared on game day.
