The Senior Nationals are the second qualifier for the U.S. Olympic Trials, which will take place April 4-5 in State College, Penn. Competitors must finish in the top five of their weight class to qualify for the trials.

Men's freestyle preliminaries will get underway Saturday from 11 a.m. eastern time to 3 p.m. Saturday's action will conclude with the quarterfinals, semifinals and consolations from 5 to 8 p.m.

Sunday begins with the consolation semifinals as well as the third, fifth and seventh place matches from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Finally, the championship matches will start at 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Lewis will compete at 74 kilograms this weekend. He previously finished fourth at the 2019 Bill Farrell Memorial, the first qualifier for the trials. Lewis also took fifth at the 2019 Continental Cup and won gold at the 2018 Junior World Championships.

Walz is set to wrestle at 97 kilograms. He is a member of USA Wrestling's men's freestyle team and placed fourth at the Bill Farrell last month. Walz finished third at the 2019 Continental Cup and the 2017 U23 World Championships.

If either Lewis or Walz fails to qualify this weekend, they have one more opportunity to make the U.S. Olympic Trials. They could still qualify from the Last Chance Qualifier in March.
