Tech adds six in signing period

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech head softball coach Pete D'Amour on Thursday announced that six prospective student-athletes have signed their National Letters of Intent during the signing period to join the Hokies for the 2020-21 academic year.

"These student-athletes will be excellent representatives of Virginia Tech," D'Amour said. "We could tell when recruiting them that they all had the type of make-up we look for when adding players to our program – team players, accountable, strong work ethics and they can really play.

"The first thing that stands out about this class is their overall athleticism. The second aspect that stands out is the pitching. They're all fun kids to be around. This is a big day for the Hokies, so thank you to all of these incoming ladies and their families for putting their trust in me and our vision for the program."
