BLACKSBURG - The No. 22 Virginia Tech men's soccer will travel to Clemson on Saturday, October 5th for their fourth ACC matchup of the year.
The Hokies responded to their past ACC matchups by demolishing the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs at Thompson Field on Tuesday night. A hat trick from Kristo Strickler and a second half goal from Marc Hoppler pushed the Hokies to a 4-0 win.

Not only did Virginia Tech find success on offense, but their defense managed to shutout the Bulldogs entirely. Gardner-Webb only managed one shot on goal, setting up a simple shutout for Mathijs Swaneveld, his second of the season.
