BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech hosts a full weekend of events with North Carolina traveling to Lane Stadium for the 2019 Homecoming game. The Hokies also welcome Notre Dame in both volleyball and men's soccer along with Wake Forest for women's soccer. Additionally, baseball and softball are set to host out-of-season competition. Wrapping up the weekend will be volleyball against Louisville on Sunday.

The Hokies return home after tying with NC State last weekend in their third consecutive overtime match of the season. Virginia Tech looks to pick up the win as the team heads into the final matches of the regular season.

Virginia Tech football is back home to host North Carolina on Saturday. The Hokies are looking to pick up their third consecutive win of the season after defeating Miami on the road followed by a home win over Rhode Island. Saturday's game is also part of Virginia Tech's 2019 Homecoming festivities when the queen and king will be crowned.

The Virginia Tech softball team will host its final fall contests of 2019 on Friday. Tech has played host to eight fall-ball games this year and is set to wrap up its out-of-season contests before beginning the season in the spring.

The Virginia Tech men's tennis team is set to face off at the ITA Regional Championships, hosted by Virginia. Competition began Thursday, Oct. 17th from Snyder Tennis Center, and conclude Tuesday, Oct. 22nd. Six Hokies will compete over the weekend in both singles and doubles.

Following a three week break, the Virginia Tech cross country team is set to return to action Saturday, Oct. 19th at the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational, hosted by Indiana. Competition will begin at 11 a.m. for the women, and 11:35 a.m. for the men.
