BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech men's soccer team will play the first game of a scheduled doubleheader with the women's team playing the follow up match. The Tech men will face the Fighting Irish at 5:30 p.m., while the women will suit up for an 8:00 p.m. tilt against Wake Forest.

Tech (6-3-2, 0-3-2 ACC) is coming off of a 3-1 loss against Pitt last Friday and look to bounce back at home for their first ACC win of the season.
The Hokies matchup against the Panthers last week was a back and forth affair for a large part of the night. The battle tilted towards the direction Pitt in the second half when they scored the first of three goals in a three-minute span. The Hokies responded with a goal shortly after, but were unable to spark a comeback.
