BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech Athletics announced Wednesday that Saturday's home football game against North Carolina is officially sold out. The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised via Fox Sports South.

Single-game tickets for Tech's final two home games are still available. Quantities are limited and the best available seats are going fast for ACC contests against Wake Forest on Saturday, Nov. 9 and against Pitt on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Hokies will salute longtime defensive coordinator Bud Foster at the game against Wake Forest. Tech's regular season home finale against Pitt will also serve as Senior Day.

A full slate of activities are scheduled for this Saturday's contest. The 2019 Homecoming Parade begins in downtown Blacksburg at 9 a.m. ET. Former Tech standout and current Pittsburgh Steelers' S Terrell Edmunds will serve as Grand Marshal. The parade will feature performances by the Highty-Tighties, the Marching Virginians and the VT Spirit Squads (including HokieBird). The 2019 Homecoming Court and Virginia Tech student organizations will also take part in the parade. The North Carolina game will also serve as this year's Maroon Effect game in conjunction with the Virginia Tech Student Government Association – all fans are encouraged to wear maroon.
Pregame festivities will continue when Hokie Village opens at Noon. At 12:05 p.m., SJ McDonald will take the stage for an approximately 40-minute set prior to the Hokie Walk at approximately 1 p.m. Following the Hokie Walk, The Jared Stout Band is scheduled to perform for over an hour in Hokie Village beginning at 1:30 p.m. This exciting local act making waves in the music industry. With a confidently entertaining stage presence and original music that gets the crowd moving, they approach the stage from all the right angles, performing a versatile sound of Americana blended with Blues, Country, Soul and Rock.
