The Virginia Tech volleyball team (7-10, 0-4 ACC) has returned to Blacksburg after a four-game road trip to open up its conference slate. The Hokies are now set to host the next four games , with two pivotal ACC matches coming this weekend in Cassell Coliseum. Virginia Tech will first host Clemson (6-10, 0-5 ACC) on Friday, Oct. 11, before returning back to action on Sunday, Oct. 13, to host Georgia Tech (9-7, 2-3 ACC) in Tech's first two home conference games of the year.

The Virginia Tech football team (3-2, 1-2 ACC) recorded its first conference victory on the year last weekend against ACC Coastal rival, Miami. The Hokies now await FCS opponent, Rhode Island (1-4, 0-3 CAA) for Saturday's home contest at Lane Stadium. Tech looks to carry the momentum following last weekend's finish at Miami into its upcoming two home games prior to the bye in schedule.

The Virginia Tech men's golf team will partake in the three-day Back of Tennessee Intercollegiate, hosted by East Tennessee State University. The 15-team field will begin play on Friday, Oct. 11 from the Blackthorn Club at the Ridges, and and will conclude play on Sunday, Oct. 13. Through three tournaments played on the fall schedule, the Hokies have finished as high as second at the 12-team VCU Invite last month.

The No. 22 Virginia Tech men's soccer team (6-2-2, 0-2-2 ACC) is seeking its first league win of the season as they travel to compete at Pittsburgh (5-4-2, 1-2-1 ACC) in an ACC Coastal clash. The ranked Hokies are looking to build momentum after tying Clemson last weekend in a scoreless draw.

The No. 20 Virginia Tech women's soccer team (9-3-1, 1-3-1 ACC) will travel to face RV NC State (6-4-3, 1-1-3 ACC) this Sunday, Oct. 13, in yet another ranked conference battle. The Hokies have faced four consecutive top-10 teams in its latest appearances during its toughest stretch of the regular season, and will have to face another challenge in RV NC State this weekend as the conference schedule reaches the halfway point.
