Hokie ClubThe Virginia Tech men's golf will compete in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, Oct. 5-6 at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, North Carolina. The tournament is hosted by ACC rival NC State and played on their campus course.
The tournament replaces the Battle at Briar's Creek, which was canceled over the weekend due to unplayable golf course conditions from Hurricane Dorian.

Due to unplayable golf course conditions from Hurricane Dorian, the Battle at Briar's Creek tournament has been canceled. The event, hosted by the College of Charleston men's golf program on Sept. 8-10 at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek on Johns Island, S.C., was to be the Hokies' season opener and it's first tournament under new head coach Brian Sharp.
The Hokies will now open the 2019-20 schedule on September 16-17 at the VCU Invitational at the Tuckahoe Creek Course of the Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.
