BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women's basketball program is set to go abroad this summer for an exciting trip to Europe from August 10 through the 22nd. The group will have the opportunity to play four games, as well as take in the sights and sounds of some of the world's most famous cities.
"I am very excited about this opportunity to go to Europe with this group of young ladies," head coach Kenny Brooks said. "It affords us the chance to have additional practices and competitions before our season starts. This is extremely important as we will have seven new faces wearing Virginia Tech uniforms for the first time. This time together will help us gain chemistry on and off the court, and I am looking forward to the educational aspect of learning about certain European cultures."
