GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday that Virginia Tech football student-athletes S Reggie Floyd and TE Dalton Keene will join head coach Justin Fuente at the 2019 ACC Football Kickoff on July 18 at the Westin Charlotte.

The Hokies embark on their fourth season under Fuente who has compiled a 25-15 record in Blacksburg, the most wins by any Tech football coach in his first three campaigns. No other active ACC head coach can top Fuente's 25 wins in his first three seasons at an ACC school. The Hokies enter the 2019 season seeking to extend a streak of 26 straight bowl appearances – the longest active streak in the nation and the third-longest streak in NCAA history.

Floyd (6-0, 222) – The Manassas, Virginia product ranked second on Tech's defense with 88 total tackles and tied for second with 9.5 TFL as a junior in 2018. A second-team All-ACC preseason selection by Phil Steele, he has also been named a fourth-team preseason All-ACC selection by Athlon Sports. He prepped at Stonewall Jackson High School, the same alma mater as CB Greg Stroman and DT Tim Settle, who were both drafted by the Washington Redskins following their Tech careers. In 38 career games (25 starts) for the Hokies, Floyd owns five interceptions for 115 yards with one TD, in addition to 161 tackles (100 solo) and a pair of forced fumbles.

Keene (6-4, 246) – The Littleton, Colorado native earned honorable mention All-ACC accolades in 2018 after registering 19 catches for 302 receiving yards (15.9 avg.) with three touchdowns. He posted 82 receiving yards, including a 67-yard touchdown in a victory at Duke (9/29/18) and also caught a one-yard, game-winning touchdown at North Carolina (10/13/18). A second-team preseason All-ACC pick of both Athlon Sports and Phil Steele in 2019, Keene owns 38 receptions for 508 yards with three TDs in 26 career games (25 starts) for VT. He has started 23 consecutive games at tight end for the Hokies.
