BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech women's golf team travels to Norman, Oklahoma to compete in the NCAA Norman Regional, hosted by the University of Oklahoma. The three-day tournament will be played at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman Monday through Wednesday.

The 18-team field will play the par 72, 6,407-yard Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club. The Hokies are one of three ACC teams in the tournament, along with Wake Forest and NC State. Texas (second nationally in Golfstat.com) is the top seed and Wake Forest (seventh nationally) is the second seed. Seven of the 18 teams are ranked in the Golfstat Top 25. Tech enters the event as the 12thseed and is ranked 48thnationally.
The tournament will consist of 54 holes of stroke play, 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. CT. The top six teams and top three individuals, not on an advancing team, will advance to the 2019 NCAA Women's Golf Championship, to be held May 17-22 at Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Arkansas, hosted by the University of Arkansas.
