Hokie ClubThe IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes in Division I with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2019. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will celebrate the 2019 All-Americans during Divisional All-American Specials, which will be aired on Lax Sports Network in mid-June.
Virginia Tech's Paige Petty earned Second Team All-South Region honors. In 2019, Petty etched her name into the school's record books, scoring a program best 66 goals and equaling the mark for most points in any single season with 74. She once again was included on the ACC's First Team, becoming the first Hokie to ever be featured twice. The midfielder caused 11 turnovers and was responsible for 23 ground balls on the season. On the draw circle, Petty corralled 68 draws.

Petty, just a sophomore, already stands in the top 10 at Tech in goals, points and draw controls in a career. In her two seasons in Blacksburg, Petty has earned the following accolades:
- Two-time first team All-ACC
- 2019 Tewaaraton Award Watch List member
- 2018 ACC All-Academic Team
- 2018 IWLCA First Team All-South Region
- 2018 IWLCA Second Team All-America
- 2018 VaSID Second Team
- 2018 Inside Lacrosse All-Rookie Team
