PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Virginia Tech men's basketball guards Ahmed Hill and Justin Robinson have been selected to participate in the 2019 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT), as announced by the organization on Friday.

The four-day tournament features 64 of the top collegiate seniors across the country, playing at the Churchland High School Sports Complex in Portsmouth, Virginia from April 17-20. All 30 NBA teams and its scouts will be in attendance, with the 12-game event open to the public.

Hill and Robinson leave Blacksburg in arguably one of the most decorated senior classes at Tech, guiding the 2018-19 team to a Sweet 16, the first for the Hokies since the tournament expanded in 1985. The duo also finished with over 1,000 points in their storied careers.

Hill finishes his career averaging 11.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. His most points in a game came versus Saint Louis on Nov. 16, 2017, when he dropped 26 points. One of the better 3-point shooters to don the maroon and orange, Hill's career high triples was six, which he did five times.

Robinson, the career assists leader at Tech and a Bob Cousy Award Finalists*, wraps up his time with the Hokies averaging 11.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. His most memorable game came against Syracuse this past January, scoring a career-high 35 points and making the most 3s in school history with nine. He also became the all-time assists leader that night, too.
