BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech baseball program will be on the road this week, first traveling to Lynchburg to face Liberty on Tuesday night, with first pitch slated for 3:30 p.m. (links are below). On Thursday, the Hokies will head back out on the road, this time heading to Tallahassee, Florida for its opening ACC baseball weekend, taking on the No. 1 Florida State Seminoles.

Quick notes about the Liberty series
- Tech enters the game with an 8-2 record, suffering losses in two of their last three outings, while Liberty has won three straight, seven of their last eight and enter the game 8-3 overall.
- All-time, Tech holds a 40-26 record against Liberty, and are 16-12 in games played in Lynchburg.
