THE HOKIES
Tech will look forward to being home again, after a tough two week slate of road games. In their last outing, the Hokies won the doubles point in Raleigh against NC State. The duo of Nika Kozar and Nina Sorkin moved to 4-2 in conference play after defeating their Wolfpack opponents 6-2. Elizabet Danailova and Sammi Gillas won their matchup 6-2 in their first time playing together this year. Gillas also moved to 13-5 on the season, after winning her match on Court four, 6-4, 6-2.
THE BLUE DEVILS
Last week, Duke captured victories against Louisville and Virginia, making them 15-2 on the year. They are ranked third in the country and have three ITA ranked players, Meible Chi (No. 14), Maria Mateas (No. 15) and Kelly Chen (No. 22). The Blue Devils also have three ranked double pairs, McCarthy/Hamlin (No. 24), Chi/McCarthy (No. 36), and Hamlin/Chen (No. 69).
UP NEXT: The Hokies will be at home again next weekend to host Louisville on Friday, April 5, and Notre Dame on Sunday, April 7.
