BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech will conducts its annual Pro Day for NFL coaches, scouts and personnel men on Friday. A total of nine players are set to participate in the workouts in anticipation of the 2019 NFL Draft which will be conducted April 25-27 in Nashville.
Following weigh-in and measurements, the bench press, broad jump and vertical jump will take place in the Hokies' weight room before on-field drills and the 40-yard dash take place in the Virginia Tech Indoor Practice Facility. Participants currently slated to take part in Pro Day include: OL Kyle Chung, DL Vinny Mihota, DL Raymon Minor, OL Yosuah Nijman, DB Bradley Parcell, RB Steven Peoples, OL Braxton Pfaff, RB Sam Rogers and DL Ricky Walker.
Nijman participated in the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine and impressed the personnel in attendance with his athleticism.
