THE HOKIES
Tech battled hard last weekend when they came up against two ranked ACC opponents. Freshman Sammi Gillas grabbed a victory against No. 29 Syracuse, while junior Natalie Novotna and sophomore Nika Kozar dropped close matches in third set 10-point tiebreaks. Kozar responded well against Boston College, defeating Kylie Wilcox (No. 75) in three sets. Gillas also grabbed her second win of the weekend and 11th of the season on Sunday as she knocked off Natasha Irani.

THE YELLOW JACKETS
Last weekend, Georgia Tech was in action against Florida State and Miami, dropping both matches. They have one player ranked in the Top 125, Kenya Jones (No. 12), while the doubles tandem of Jones/Lin is ranked 62nd.

THE WOLFPACK
In their last outing, NC State defeated Baylor in the BNP Paribas Opener. Before they host the Hokies, the Wolfpack will take on Miami on Friday. NC State have three players ranked, Anna Rogers (No. 31), Alana Smith (No. 70) and Adriana Reami (No. 116). The doubles pair of Smith/Rogers is ranked ninth.

UP NEXT: The Hokies will return to Blacksburg to begin a five match home stand beginning with Duke on March 29 at 10 a.m.
