The Hokies bounced back after a loss to the Clemson Tigers with a win over rival Virginia. The Hokies took the lead with 4:52 remaining in the second quarter and never looked back. Taylor Emery lead the way with 19 points and 6 assists, Regan Magarity added 18 points and 17 rebounds for her 18th double-double of the season.
The Hokies still lead the nation in free throw percentage at 80.3 for the season and are 2nd in the ACC in three-point field goal percentage at 37.4.
Dara Mabrey leads the ACC in three-point field goal percentage at 47.3 and leads the Hokies in assists at 2.8 per game.
