CHESTNUT HILL, MASS.– The Virginia Tech women's tennis team fell to #47 Boston College 5-2 on Sunday at Flynn Recreation Complex.
Tech (7-9, 1-5 ACC) fell behind early after Boston College (11-5, 2-5 ACC) picked up the doubles point with wins on courts one and two.
Samantha Gillas defeated Boston College's Natasha Irani 6-4, 6-4 on court four.
On court two, Nika Kozar fell in the first set 6-3 before battling back and picking up the win 6-2, 7-6.
The Hokies will be back on the court Friday, March 22 for a 3 p.m. match at Georgia Tech.
