THE HOKIES
Virginia Tech is looking to rebound with a strong performance after dropping close matches against Purdue and Missouri last weekend. Freshman Sammi Gillas will look to continue her winning ways, as she is 3-1 on the season. Junior Shene Disbergen and sophomore Elizabet Danailova will also look to build from strong performances against Purdue last weekend. Disbergen has a 3-1 tally while Danailova is 2-0.

THE TIGERS
Two spots in Clemson's lineup are recognized by the ITA Top 125, Fernanda Navarro (#64) and the doubles team of Navarro and Marie-Alexandre Leduc (#2). In last year's meeting with the Tigers, the Hokies swept the match, 7-0, and in the last two seasons, Tech is 2-1 against Clemson.

THE BLUE HENS
Last weekend, Delaware split results in Pittsburgh against Pitt and Duquesne. The Hokies saw some of the Blue Hens in action earlier this year when they competed in the Hokie Fall Invite.

THE THUNDERING HERD
Marshall lost its last outing against Charlotte, 5-2. All time, the Hokies control the series with the Thundering Herd, 18-9. In a meeting last season in Huntington, W.Va., Tech claimed a 6-1 victory.
