BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech women's golf team opens the spring portion of the 2018-19 schedule at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, hosted by Purdue University. The three-day tournament will be played at the River Course of the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort & Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

LADY PUERTO RICO CLASSIC
The 14-team field will play the par 72, 6,203-yard River Course of the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort & Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The Hokies are one of two ACC teams in the tournament, along with NC State. Nine of the 14 teams are ranked in the top 50 in the current Golfstat.com rankings, led by No. 7 Arkansas and No. 10 Kent State.
Play will consist of three days of 18 holes of competition per day, beginning on Sunday, Feb. 10. There will be a practice round on Sunday, Feb. 9
The six players competing in the five starting line-up spots and one individual spot for the Hokies will be drawn from:
