Tech announces earlier start time for home opener Tuesday

BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech baseball program opened its 126th season, and second under head coach John Szefc, with a three-victory weekend at the RyCass Classic in DeLand, Florida and now the Hokies turn their attention to Tuesday's home opener against ETSU.

Due to the weather that is forecasted for the area late in the day tomorrow, first pitch for the Hokies and Buccaneers game scheduled at English Field at Union Park has been pushed up to 2 p.m. As always, admission to Hokies' nonconference regular season home games is free of charge.
