Hokies travel to Georgia Tech for Sunday afternoon matchup

BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech women's basketball team prepares for their only matchup with the Georgia Tech as they head down to Atlanta for a battle with Yellow Jackets on Sunday Feb. 17. Tipoff from McCamish Pavilion is set for 1 p.m. and can be seen on Regional Sports Networks. 
 
The Hokies earned a road victory against the Duke Blue Devils on Wednesday night, their third straight ACC road victory 64-57. Redshirt senior Regan Magarity led the Hokies with 22 points on 9 of 15 shooting and added 18 boards including five on the offensive glass. Taylor Emery added 13 points to help fuel Virginia Tech's win over the Blue Devils.
 
Freshman Dara Mabrey continues to lead the ACC and is third in the nation is 3-point shooting percentage at .480
 
As a team, the Hokies are shooting 79.6 from the free throw line which is first in the nation.
