The Virginia Tech men's tennis team (2-2) is heading into an action packed weekend, hosting Brown and James Madison on Friday, and St. Bonaventure and Davidson Saturday. The Hokies will compete in four contents, trying to rebound from their only two losses of the season, falling to tough opponents in No. 14 Columbia and No. RV Kentucky at the ITA Kickoff Weekend a couple weeks ago.

The Virginia Tech lacrosse program is set for its 25th season in 2019, and the Hokies' first draw will be on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Beamer-Lawson Indoor Facility at 1 p.m. against the Bucknell Bison.

The Virginia Tech women's tennis team (1-3) is traveling to open up ACC play against Clemson on Friday before returning home to action Sunday to host a pair of home games. In their second and third matches of the weekend, the Hokies will face off in a doubleheader against Delaware and Marshall in Blacksburg on Sunday.

The Virginia Tech women's basketball team (15-7, 2-7 ACC) looks to extend its two-game win streak this Sunday at home after picking up two breakthrough road wins in last week's conference matchups. The Hokies defeated Pitt (9-14, 0-9 ACC) and Boston College (14-8, 3-6 ACC) by a combined total of 25 points.

Feb. 8-9 | Tiger Paw Invitational & Iowa State Classic
After strong showings at home and at the Camel City Invitational last week, the Virginia Tech track and field teams will split up again to compete in two meets this weekend. The throws and jumps/multi-event groups will head to Clemson, South Carolina for the Tiger Paw Invitational, while the distance group travels to Ames, Iowa for the Iowa State Classic.

Hitting the road to begin the 2019 season, the Virginia Tech softball team will travel south to Charleston, South Carolina to take on four teams in a five-game tournament at the Cougar Classic from Friday through Sunday.

The Virginia Tech women's tennis team (1-3) is set to open up ACC play against Clemson on Friday, leading off the first of three opponents that the Hokies will face this weekend. In the only road match of the weekend, the Hokies look to grab their first away win of the season before returning home to face off in a doubleheader on Sunday.

The Virginia Tech wrestling team (8-2) looks to extend its eight-match winning streak as they return to the Research Triangle this week for a 6 p.m. dual on Friday vs. 15th-ranked North Carolina. Last Friday, the Hokies won convincingly, 40-3, at Duke.

The Virginia Tech men's basketball team (18-4, 7-3 ACC) will travel to Clemson (14-8, 4-5 ACC) looking to bounce back after falling at home Monday to No. 16/17 Louisville (17-6, 8-2 ACC). The Hokies aim to win their third consecutive road game after recently defeating No. 23/22 NC State (16-7, 4-6 ACC) last weekend, 47-24, holding the Wolfpack to the lowest recorded score by a ranked team ever during the shot clock era.

The Virginia Tech women's golf team opens up the spring portion of the 2018-2019 schedule at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, hosted by Purdue University. The three-day tournament will be played at the River Course of the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort & Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
