GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia Tech senior diver Ben Schiesl has been named the ACC Diver of the Week after helping the Hokies to wins over Cincinnati and George Washington this past weekend.
Schiesl shined in wins over Bearcats (185-108) and the Colonials (197-91). The senior from Fairfax, Virginia, won the 1-meter competition with a score of 398.05, and took second on the 3-meter after posting a 376.30, finishing just behind teammate Noah Zawadzki.
This marks Schiesl's third ACC Weekly honors this season and the third of his career.
