Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – The ACC announced on Monday that Virginia Tech's game vs. Notre Dame on Oct. 6 will be a six-day selection to be announced on Sunday. The contest will be televised either on ABC or ESPN with possible kickoff times of either 3:30 p.m. or 8 p.m.
The Fighting Irish will make their first-ever appearance at Lane Stadium. The Hokies won the initial meeting between the two schools by a 34-31 margin as Tech erased a pair of 17-point deficits in the contest in South Bend on Nov. 19, 2016.
The Hokies resume ACC play at Duke on Saturday. The Hokies are 12-2 against Duke since joining the ACC in 2004, including a 2-0 mark under head coach Justin Fuente.
