BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech men's basketball is excited to host the fifth annual Hokies, Hoops & Heels event on Oct. 27 at the Hahn Hurst Basketball Practice Center.
The event, starting back in 2014, is an opportunity for women in the community to learn more about the fundamentals of basketball, gain behind-the-scenes access to the Hokies' program and more.
Head Coach Buzz Williams, his staff and players will lead stations on shooting techniques, going over plays in the film room and having some fun taking pictures at a photo booth as well. The basketball staff and its wives will be in action, too.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. ET and the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. For more information on how to register, click here.
The Hokies open the 2018-19 season on Nov. 9 against Gardner-Webb at 7 p.m. at Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum.
