BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women's soccer team announced today its make-up date with the Virginia Cavaliers, and with it, have also altered its schedule a bit more by sliding the Pittsburgh contest back a day.
The Hokies and Cavaliers are now scheduled to play Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m., while the match with the Panthers will move to Sunday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. Both games will be played at Thompson Field and will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
The Hokies (4-1-3), who are winners of two straight and unbeaten in their past three, head to the Sunshine State this week. Tech faces the Florida State Seminoles for the Hokies' ACC opener on Thursday at 7 p.m. and then head to Coral Gables, Florida to face the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday with kickoff slated for noon.
