BLACKSBURG - Due to the impending weather forecasted for the area this upcoming weekend, the Virginia Tech baseball team has already decided to call off its scheduled exhibition game against the Charlotte 49ers, which was to be played at English Field at Union Park this Friday night.
The Hokies were scheduled to play two exhibition games at English Field at Union Park, both on Friday nights, this fall. The other game, against the High Point Panthers, is still set for October 5 with first pitch slated for 6 p.m. There is free admission to the game, while concession stands will also be open.
