Vereb, Ho to represent Hokies at ACC/B1G Challenge

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech will be represented by senior Ian Ho and sophomore Joelle Vereb at the inaugural ACC/B1G Challenge this weekend in West Lafayette, Indiana at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.

The two Hokies will join top talent from around the league to compete against the top swimmers from the Big Ten.
 
Ho has turned in some impressive times and has tallied seven wins this season. He currently holds the fourth fastest 50 free time in the NCAA this season with 19.88. Ho will be competing in the 200 medley relay, 400 free relay and the 50 freestyle.
 
Vereb has been sidelined recently, but will be back in the pool to represent the ACC. She claimed first in the 100 breaststroke and second in the 100 fly in the Hokies first meet of the season versus Duke. Vereb is set to compete in the 100 fly, 100 breaststroke, 400 medley relay and 200 medley relay.
