Hokies return to Cassell Coliseum to face Central Connecticut State

 
 
BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech men's basketball team returns to the Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseum on Saturday evening against Central Connecticut State. The game will tip-off at 5 p.m. and will be shown on ACC Network Extra.

The Hokies dropped their first game of the season on Tuesday night, as they fell, 63-62, at Penn State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge … Justin Robinson led the Hokies with 19 points and Ty Outlaw added 16 points … Kerry Blackshear Jr., added 14 points and a season-high nine boards and Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 13 points, three assists and three steals … Tech shot a season-high 52.6 percent from three-point range … Tech is now 0-3 against Penn State in the Challenge, with all three games having been played at the Bryce Jordan Center on the Penn State campus.

his is the first meeting between the Hokies and the Blue Devils … Tech is 8-1 all-time against schools currently in the Northeast Conference and 1-0 this season, following the win over Saint Francis on Nov. 24.
