The Virginia Tech football team hosts ACC opponent  Boston College in their homecoming game at 3:45 on Saturday.  The Hokies are currently sitting at 4-3 overall and 3-1 in ACC play after a tough loss to Georgia Tech last Thursday. [Full Preview]

The Virginia Tech wrestling team hosts the Hokie Open on Sunday to open up the season. The Hokies won their second consecutive ACC title last season and are looking to continue that success this season.

Nov. 2 | 4:30 p.m. – Hokie Open (Men's 6k)
Nov. 2 | 5:10 p.m. – Hokie Open (Women's 4k)
 
The Virginia Tech cross country teams host the Hokie Open. Last week the Hokies competed in the ACC Championship where redshirt-junior Peter Seufer won the ACC individual title. Several Tech athletes will be running unattached at the meet.

Notre Dame, Ind.

Nov. 3 | 11 a.m. – Notre Dame & Pittsburgh
  
The Virginia Tech swimming and diving team travels to Notre Dame, Indiana to take on Notre Dame and Pittsburgh. Last week the men were able to defeat both Penn State and No. 10 Ohio State to improve to 3-0, while the women defeated Penn State but fell to No. 15 ranked Ohio State, moving to 1-2 on the season.  [Full Preview]

Nov. 2- 4 | Georgia Tech Invitational
 
 The Virginia Tech men's tennis team travels to compete in the Georgia Tech invitational. Tech will be one of six teams participating in the tournament including Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Georgia, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and South Alabama. [Full Preview]
 
Women's Tennis
Lexington, Ky.
Nov. 2- 4 | Kentucky Invite
 
The Virginia Tech women's tennis team is set to compete in two tournaments over the weekend, traveling to the Kentucky Invite as well as the Dick Vitale Clay Court Classic.  The Hokies will compete against Kentucky and Tulane in Lexington as Dori Mesmer, Emily Pence, Jade Woo, Annie Clark, Nika Kozar, Nina Sorkin and Elizabet Danailova make the trip. Traveling to Florida will be Sarah Baron, Shene Disberge, Natalie Novotna and Rita Pinto. The weekend wraps up the fall slate for the Tech women's team. [Full Preview]

The Virginia Tech men's basketball team travels to Lynchburg, VA to take on Liberty in an exhibition game. The game serves as an effort to help raise financial support for hurricane relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence and Michael. [More Information]
 
Men's Soccer
Chapel Hill, N.C.
Nov. 4 | 1 p.m. – North Carolina
 
The Virginia Tech men's soccer team travels to take on North Carolina in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament. The Hokies defeated Syracuse 3-1 in the first round, Tech had three different goal scorers including Kristo Strickler who got his 9th of the season in the win.
