Men's Basketball

Nov. 9 | 7 p.m. – Gardner- Webb
The Virginia Tech men's basketball team hosts its first home game of the season against Gardner- Webb. Tech traveled to Liberty last weekend to compete in an exhibition game that the Hokies won 86-70. The Hokies return senior guard Justin Robinson who earned All-ACC second team honors last season. Robinson has been listed on the "watch lists" for the Bob Cousy Award, Naismith Trophy and John R. Wooden Award.
Women's Basketball

Nov. 10 | 2 p.m. – Georgia Southern
The Virginia Tech women's basketball team hosts its second home game of the season against Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon. The Hokies opened up their season with a 96-45 win against USC Upstate. Freshman Dara Mabrey and senior Taylor Emery both had 18 points in the Hokies victory.
AWAY EVENTS
Cross Country
Rock Hill, S.C.
Winthrop Farm
Nov. 9 | 11 a.m. - NCAA Southeast Regional (women's)
Nov. 9 | 12 p.m. - NCAA Southeast Regional (men's)
The Virginia Tech cross country program competes in the NCAA Southeast Regional tournament. The Hokies men's team is competing against 37 other teams while the women are competing against 40 other teams. The top two teams from each race will move on to compete in the NCAA Championships.
Volleyball
Charlottesville, Va.
Memorial Gym
Nov. 9 | 7 p.m. - Virginia
The Virginia Tech volleyball team travels to Charlottesville, VA for a clash with in state rivals Virginia. Tech looks to sweep Virginia this season after beating the Cavaliers 3-0 back in September. The Hokies are looking to win 1/2 a point for Virginia Tech in the Commonwealth Clash with a win.
Women's Soccer
Austin, Texas
Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field
Nov. 9 | 8 p.m. - Texas
The Virginia Tech women's soccer team makes their return to the NCAA championship after two seasons of missing out. Tech had a 9-7-3 overall record and went 5-5 in ACC play. The Hokies will face 4th seeded Texas in the first round of the tournament.
Football
Pittsburgh, Pa.
Heinz Field
Nov. 10 | 3:30 p.m. – Pittsburgh
The Hokies football team travels to take an ACC opponent Pittsburgh on Saturday. Last week the Hokies lost a tough game to Boston College 31-21. The Hokies are currently 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the ACC and look to snap a two game losing streak.
