BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech women's basketball team will host its annual Hardwood Club Dinner Auction on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 at the Inn at Virginia Tech.
The Hokie Hardwood Club is the booster club for the Virginia Tech women's basketball program, held its first auction in 2000 to raise funds to help support the team's first international trip. Since then, the auction has continued to fulfill one of the club's missions, which is to provide the level of spirit and resources necessary to support a program of national prominence.
The event will begin with a social and cocktails at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:15 and the live auction commencing at 7 p.m.
Individual tickets will go on sale on Nov. 15, 2018.
Sponsored table are available for the auction. Being a table sponsor ensures you and your seven guests have reserved seating and a student-athlete or coach will join you at your table. Sponsored tables will be on sale through Jan. 1, 2019.
Fans will have the opportunity to interact with student-athletes during the social as well as see them perform during the talent show portion of the live auction.
Head Coach Kenny Brooks will address the Hardwood Club and introduce each student-athlete during the night and provide updates on the program and its staff members.
Auction donations
The annual auction's success has been dependent upon supporters' generous donations. No item is too big, small, or unique for our auction. Hokies gear, autographed materials, vacation vouchers, gift certificates and other items make the auction a can't miss on any true Hokie's calendar.

The Hokies play next on Saturday, Nov. 10 on Carilion Clinic Court when they take on the visiting Georgia Southern Eagles. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
