Hokies travel to Wolfpack Intercollegiate

 
 
BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech men's golf team travels to compete in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate. The two-day tournament will be played Saturday and Sunday at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the campus of NC State in Raleigh, North Carolina.

WOLFPACK INTERCOLLEGIATE
This is the Hokies' first appearance in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate. Tech competed on this course in April of 2017 in the Wolfpack Spring Open. The Lonnie Poole Golf Course is a par 72, 7,358-yard layout designed by the Arnold Palmer Design Company and is located on NC State's Centennial Campus. The 15-team event features ACC schools, Virginia Tech and host NC State. The first two rounds will be played on Saturday, followed by the final round on Sunday. This tournament was added to the Hokies' schedule following the cancellation of the VCU Invitational in September.

The players competing for the Hokies are:
Joey Jordan, senior, Richmond, Virginia; Connor Burgess, sophomore, Lynchburg, Virginia; Slade Pickering, sophomore, North West, South Africa; Drew Brockwell, freshman, Chesterfield, Virginia; Connor Johnson Jr., freshman, Richmond, Virginia. Cameron Moore, freshman, Richmond, Virginia, will compete as an individual.
