GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia Tech's Ian Ho has been selected as the ACC Men's Swimmer of the Week as announced Monday by the league office.
Ho and the Hokies defeated Penn State (255-98) and No. 10 Ohio State (182-171) over the weekend. The Blacksburg, Virginia native won four races and placed second in two more events in his first appearance of the season.
The senior won the 50 free style with an NCAA B time of 19.88 – the fourth fastest in the NCAA so far this season. He also claimed the 100 free and was part of two first place relay teams, including the 200 free and 200 medley. In addition, Ho helped the Hokies to second place finishes in the 400 free relay and 400 medley relay.
This marks the second ACC weekly honor of Ho's career.
