Hokies conclude fall schedule at Grandover

BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech men's golf team puts a wrap on the fall season as they travel to Greensboro, North Carolina to compete in the Grandover Collegiate. The two-day tournament will be played Saturday and Sunday at the Grandover Resort's East Course just south of Greensboro.

GRANDOVER COLLEGIATE
The Hokies have played in the Grandover Collegiate multiple times. The East Course of the Grandover Resort is a par 72, 7,247-yard layout designed by Gary Panks and David Graham. The Hokies and Duke are the only ACC teams in the 13-team event, which features four teams in the Golfstat.com top 50, led by the third-ranked Blue Devils. The tournament, hosted by UNC Greensboro, is played in the shadow of the Atlantic Coast Conference office, located just off the green at No. 15.

The players competing for the Hokies are:

Connor Burgess, sophomore, Lynchburg, Virginia; Slade Pickering, sophomore, North West, South Africa; Drew Brockwell, freshman, Chesterfield, Virginia; Connor Johnson Jr., freshman, Richmond, Virginia and Bradley de Beer, freshman, Western Cape, South Africa.
 
Three players are competing as individuals, Joey Jordan, senior, Richmond, Virginia; Tom Crow, junior, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Cameron Moore, freshman, Richmond, Virginia.
