BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech men's golf team makes the familiar trip south to compete again this season in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. The three-day tournament will be played Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Blackthorn Club at the Ridges in Jonesborough, Tennessee.

BANK OF TENNESSEE INTERCOLLEGIATE
The Hokies, the 2007 champion, have played in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate in each of the last nine seasons and 15 of the 20 previous years of the event. The Blackthorn Club at the Ridges is a par 72, 7,147-yard layout designed by Arthur Hills. The 15-team event features four ACC schools, Virginia, Louisville, Wake Forest and the Hokies, along with No. 6 Tennessee and No. 15 Penn State, the defending champion.

The players competing for the Hokies are:
Joey Jordan, senior, Richmond, Virginia; Connor Burgess, sophomore, Lynchburg, Virginia; Slade Pickering, sophomore, North West, South Africa; Drew Brockwell, freshman, Chesterfield, Virginia; Connor Johnson Jr., freshman, Richmond, Virginia. Bradley de Beer, freshman, Western Cape, South Africa, will compete as an individual, making his collegiate debut.
