Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech Athletics announced Wednesday that the Hokies' opening home football game against William and Mary at 2 p.m. on Saturday is officially sold out. Tech previously announced that the first-ever contest at Lane Stadium between Virginia Tech and Notre Dame on Oct. 6 is also a sellout.

Head coach Justin Fuente is in his third season in Blacksburg and owns a 20-8 record leading the Hokies. Tech is currently ranked No. 12 in the AP Top 25 and is No. 14 in the Amway USA Today Coaches Poll. Tech is coming off a 24-3 victory on Monday Night at Florida State.
